Here’s an update everyone.  The segment on eHow aired  yesterday on KGO, a local ABC News  affiliate.  For the folks not in the Bay Area (California) here’s the link to the video: eHow on ABC News .  This is wonderful piece on how eHow is benefiting people during the tough economic times.  You have heard before that how many eHow writers are using their eHow earnings to supplement their income.  This piece also  focused on how the people are benefiting from the “how to” information and tips on eHow.  Rather than picking up the phone to call a plumber,  people are searching for “do it yourself” information that our community has created.  This is a great compliment to not only our writers but our community.  eHow is not only an information site but it has grown into a community of users who interact and learn from one another.  Keep up the great work everyone!

podcast_blog-imagesThe eHow staff started off the year of the Ox with some Chinese food and fortune cookies.  One of our editor’s fortune cookie messages was, “You are artistic and others can relate to you.”  We’re no Picassos but that got us thinking about the different ways we share our ideas with others eHow.   Whenever, you’re starting a new DIY sewing project or need to figure out how to refinish your hardwood floors, you can always find someone in our eHow community that has the answers or insightful tips.  Our community is truly a place of inspiration and learning, where we come together every day and share our passions and learn how to do just about everything.  Lately, we’ve been inspired by the number of different ways our members are sharing their articles and knowledge.  Last week, we spoke about Chameleon, who shares eHow articles on her personal coffee blog.  This week, we bring you <drum roll please> A.Suzanne Wells and Writergig!  Suzanne recently broadcasted a podcast with Writergig and shared insightful tips from how to optimize eHow articles to where they find inspirations for their articles.  These ladies definitely tapped into their inner artists and enabled other users to learn from their experiences on eHow.  Needless to say we are extremely proud of our community and feel blessed to be a part of such awesome company!
