Can’t Stop Talking about those eHow Groups

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

ehow-groups-intro-expert-groupsCongratulations to everyone!  It has only been a few months since we launched the eHow Group program and we currently have well over 500 groups on eHow (and that number is growing daily).   Leave it to our vibrant eHow community to come together and form groups on everything from parenting, to DIY and to recycling.  Our very own, Recycling Crafters for Fun is protecting planet earth while exercising their creative juices.  This tight-knit group is constantly exchanging eco-friendly craft project ideas in their own group discussions.  One of the keys to eHow Group success is not just content or building traffic; some of our smaller groups are powerful because they constantly speak to each other through the group’s blog or discussion forums.

We also want to take this time to thank our eHow Experts for continuing to field our community’s questions in their various eHow Groups.  We are a curious bunch and we definitely appreciate all of the expert advice on everything from photography to medicine.  For instance, if some of you have any last minute tax questions you may want to visit our Personal Finance with eHow Expert, Mark.

The moral of this blog post - WE-likey, so keep it up peeps!

eHow is Creating a Buzz

We truly feel lucky to be a part of the eHow community.  Lately, it seems that many of our users are helping to put eHow on the map by showin’ some love on their personal blogs or podcasts.  Now it appears our members are making headlines on CNN!  CNN just aired a news story, “Moonlighting Online to Pay the Mortgage,” about a “stay at home mother of three pre-school aged kids… who started to write articles online to help make ends meet.”  CNN was particularly impressed that this eHow member earned over $1,000.00 each month which helped supplement the  family income and pay some of the household expenses.  Does this sound familiar?   Congratulations Writergig!  Writergig recently did a podcast with one of our other members, Suzanne, on tips on how to optimize your eHow articles.  We thank Writergig and all of our members who help each other and our community everyday by posting in our forums, blogging and creating eHow groups (see How to Create a Group on eHow).   Keep up the great work everyone!
