Take a Coffee Break with eHow

We are particularly stoked about this entry because it’s about….COFFEE!  Whether it’s the good ol’ drip, a shot of espresso, or a triple shot-soy-vanilla macchiato, these wonderful little beans get our brains going in the morning.  In fact, coffee has even influenced national politics, when marketers recently named a drink “Barack Americano,” after President Obama.  Nevetheless, this post is more than an ode to coffee; it’s about one of our users, chameleon, who is sharing eHow articles in an awesome way. She showcases her eHow articles and her eHow friends’ articles on her blog. Posting eHow articles to a blog, twitter page, or facebook is an effective way to share your knowledge and passion with a new audience.

So if you’ve reached your caffeine intake for the day, here are some articles to keep you company till your next java fix!

In eHow We Trust

newsoutlets

We’re always on the lookout for cool mentions of eHow on the web, and just yesterday we had some that surfaced.  The team at eHow love it when we hear media outlets referencing eHow as a source for trusted information.  That just means that eHow is developing more awareness in the public eye, which is great for us, but also great for the community because it brings more visibility to the contributions you make to the site.  Check out these mentions of us on the following online publications…

We were referenced in…

An “Obama inagural party” article on STLToday.com (The #1 St. Louis Website):

“Ehow.com suggests you send out R.S.V.P. cards. Create these yourself and — in keeping with the theme — ask them to check “Yes, we can” attend, or “Yes, we canNOT” attend.”

An article on “wedding toasts” published on ThePittsburghChannel.com:

“The other thing to remember is that at a high-stress moment — especially with the possibility of alcohol in your system — you don’t want to forget. So, write down what you want to say days in advance, Ehow.com suggests. You don’t have to carry a script in your pocket or read from a teleprompter, but getting an outline on a paper forces you to consider what you plan to do and get it in an order.”

An article on “family financial planning in 2009″ published on Ocala.com:

“As suggested by the Web sites eHow.com and About.com, a good way to do this is to focus on three months of the past year based on three key components: income, fixed expenses and variable expenses.”
